What You Do or Who You Are
We often define ourselves by what we do.However, it may be more significant to our baseline happiness to look at who we are, what we are like, as a unique person.If we craft our lives to support what we do, that may have some interesting and significant implications on how we live, and may not have much to do with being a happy, satisfied person.On the other hand, if we craft our lives to support who we are, there is a much better chance to have a fulfilling, satisfying life and experience happiness more of the time.This approach may require you to know yourself better and be more accepting of yourself, a challenge many of us would prefer to avoid.
