Three Ways

There are three distinct ways that you can engage with the philosophy that I offer, from the perspective of your own growth and development.1.  You can use this philosophy to deal with problems that arise.  Many people come to their growth and expansion because they are already in pain or crisis.  This is often the call to wake up.  This is not a proactive approach to life and is the least desirable reason to continue to grow.  For years I worked with people to put out fires but eventually realized that a crisis-driven approach to growth was the least satisfying.  Most of my clients who work with the philosophy on a weekly basis put most of the crisis-driven growth behind them in the first year or so of the work, although we all have to come back to it from time to time. 2.  You can use this philosophy as an advantage to get an edge on life.  In this approach, you use the tools and techniques to have life be more effective, to be more successful, to have more fun, to experience more happiness, to refine yourself and hone your life.  This is the second best approach.  My clients at this level are experiencing more effective business lives, are amplifying their relationships, or are experiencing their genius and expressing it at higher and more focused levels. This is an important stage to prepare for the third phase where we reap the fruits of our work. 3.  At a certain point we recognize that the dance of life is enough. We have made a change in our lives that reflects the real expression of ourselves. It is more of a settling in and being comfortable with life. There is less of a drive and a more blissful engagement.  At this level we use the philosophy to continue to expand and express ourselves from a sense of appreciation and love of life and all it has to offer. We are refined, open, and engaged. Life takes on a sense of wonder and ease.  This is the real purpose of the pursuit of this work, the outcome of years of working the knots out, approaching issues and situations with courage, seeking the self, the “still, small voice within,” and letting it have its’ say.  The work has its own benefits along the way, and this is enough for some. But for those who continue on the path, there is a beautiful reward for the commitment to the work and the practice.
