Negativity
We tend to think in terms of negative events or circumstances: “This bad thing happened.”However, the universe is neutral or possibly better.Negativity is only a perspective that we add to events, something we bring to the equation.Once you know that negativity is only something we add to events, it gives you a choice. You can choose to just witness the event and hold it as neutral, or, if you prefer, you can choose to be positive about it.I personally like to bring a little different spin. I like to assume that I, or some part of life, is creating my world perfectly for my growth and evolution. So when something happens in my life, I like to ask myself, “Why is that supposed to happen?” or “I wonder why that is important?”This approach lends a playfulness and evolutionary quality to life that I find appealing. For people who do this, an extraordinary thing begins to happen. We start to notice a quality of serendipity, a flow, an unusual concordance in life. There seems to be more meaning, almost a kindness or purpose to the unfolding of our lives. The Native Americans and other people who have lived close to nature often interpreted signs and portents from nature. They received messages and important communications from the world around them by paying attention and not judging good or bad. We can do this too, we can find meaning in everything as we stop judging, the more aware we are the more we find everything has meaning. The more aware we are of our judgments of good and bad, negative and positive, the less we are trapped by them, and the more we experience the deeper flow of our lives like the turning of the pages of a great book. What if everything occurring in your life had meaning, was an offering of sorts? How would that change of perspective change your days? Can you see your negativity as a choice? Try it out somewhere.Where in your life are you projecting a negative interpretation? Is there any other way to interpret those circumstances? How is life lining up perfectly for your transformation?
