Living an Ideal Life (part 2)
One of the ways I construct my ideal life is with blocking.I begin with an awareness of what I most want to do, and then I use my calendar to block out the time to do those things. Each day, I have time to exercise, to do yoga, get coached, talk to clients, relax, write, go to the farmer’s market, etc.You, too, can put it all in there. You can block these things out day by day.You can also block weekly, monthly, and annually.When you imagine your ideal life, what would it include? The more you imagine what you want to be occupied with, and then you block it out, the less time there is for things you aren’t interested in.In my experience, if I don’t select for the things that are most important to me and reserve space for them, the time will fill in with other things.This is the discipline of bliss.
