Less Faster

I have received a lot of interest from people wanting to make their lives more manageable. It seems like many of us are leading faster and fuller lives. Many of us feel like we can’t fit everything we want or feel we need to do into our days. One approach is to simplify. Make a list of everything you do, put them in order from most meaningful to least meaningful; eliminate the last 25%, never do them again. Repeat often.Another approach to simplify is to get clear about what you are doing with your life, what is the focus, what are your primary purposes? Hint: the fewer you have the more focused and clear you will be. Focus your life around doing/being these few things with beauty, grace and excellence, let everything else fall away.A third alternative is to just slow down 10%. Slow down your movement, your talking, your driving, your working; slow everything down. You may be surprised; often people who do this find themselves more productive and more effective. People will perceive you as more confident and competent, in fact you probably will be. Your relationships will be deeper, your children will feel you more, and life will feel more spacious.Let’s call this Less Faster. Try it for one day and see what happens.
