What Is Inquiry Method All About?
*Disclaimer: Olivia's video is really shaky but Kyle's is much better and he does most of the talking.
Hi Everyone!
In this 5-minute video blog, Kyle takes viewers through a rundown of what he views Inquiry Method, his philosophy, to be about. He says it is a state of consciousness that allows a person to view the world and themself differently.

Key Takeaways:
Inquiry Method, like meditation, practices a specific kind of consciousness. Meditation practices stillness and not attaching to the thoughts that are running through your mind. Inquiry Method is being with another person without your ego, without your judgments, without knowing anything and in deep curiosity. And on the other side of things, being with yourself without knowing anything, without your stories, and just looking within and observing. It’s a meditative state that helps us understand and find the spot of an egoless position in life.
Both people, inquirer and inquiree are practicing inner and outer inquiry. Meaning, I don’t have the judgments, stories and coping mechanisms that my mind has made up about me or about the other person. Likewise, the other person doesn’t have any of their judgments, stories and coping mechanisms about themselves or about me.
This consciousness can also be mapped onto other things. You can be curious and in wonder not only with other people but with other things. You can be in curiosity about a mountain lake, a fish tank, a flower, or anything else you can think of.
Fundamentally we are all yearning for connection. Our phones have become shields to connection. We are now just slightly connecting with others. I only show others exactly what I want them to see about me. What we really want is a deep connection. Inquiry Method can foster that deep connection instantly.
When I connect to another through inquiry and I’m being seen, I get to know myself deeper and be seen deeper. It’s a really beautiful thing to witness and be a part of.
Inquiry Method is not only the process of connecting with another person but it’s also practicing a very specific state of consciousness.
