Video Blog: There Is No Such Thing as a Small Upset

*Disclaimer: Olivia's video is really shaky but Kyle's is great and he does most of the talking.

During this uncertain time it can be easy to “look on the brighter side” and gloss over our thoughts, fears, and anxieties. All over the internet you can find meditations, positive affirmations and hypnotherapy tracks for calming and serenity. In this video, Kyle talks about how there is no need to live with a canvas painted with triggers and upsets. Inquiry Method can literally wipe your canvas and allow you to start again.

Check out the full video and some main points of our discussion below.

Key Take-Aways:

  •  There are certain events in our life that causes more sensation or emotion than we can be present with and we have to stuff it. Those moments are defining experiences for us and we start to look for them in the rest of our lives. We start mapping that experience onto others that are similar and some that aren’t even comparable. This comparison causes us to trigger the same emotional response as the initial event.

  • Every experience becomes part of an emotional hologram, therefore, there are no small upsets. Your trigger could be as simple as picking the wrong line at the grocery store and it could launch you into a story about how you always pick the wrong thing! It could seem like a small thing but it isn’t because that same belief pattern could show up in various parts of your life.

  • Someone on the member’s call said, “Oh it’s not worth talking about…” Kyle says, “IT’S ALWAYS WORTH TALKING ABOUT!” You can get into the healing, release, and recovery by accessing any point of your story. There is always something you can work on.

We have two members calls that you can join and practice releasing your thoughts, beliefs, and ideas with Kyle himself! Join us Tuesdays at 11am PST/2pm ET or Thursday at 5pm PST/8pm ET. Your first call is FREE! Click here to sign up.

Our amazing team member Peggy also put together a calendar of FREE events to support people during this time of isolation. Kyle, along with various community members have generously donated their time to bring you a host of activities to lift your spirits, stay in connection, and increase your joy.
