Marriage and Inquiry Method

I have been extremely satisfied with the results of applying Inquiry Method and Levels of Participation to marriage.

Just a few years ago most of my clients were individuals, now much to my delight, the largest percentage of my clients have both people in the marriage participating in coaching and mentoring. Not only has this deeply impacted the relationships but it has had an accelerating effect on the growth of the individual.

As I have realized, and now, as the people working with me have realized, the richness and depth that can be experienced in life through an inquiry relationship is deeply satisfying.

The idea of identifying and working toward a “want for us” grows us as individuals and supports the deeper meaning and opportunity for love in marriage and committed relationships. The key is in growing to the place where you can realize and apply your own capacity to meet your own needs. As you grow through pain and soften your ego you become more available to the relationship. Getting out of your own neediness allows you to contribute to serving the relationship, and it frees you from habits of rescuing or serving the unmet needs of your partner. Relationships served in this way become cornucopias of love and nurturance.

Marriage makes more sense as the partners become self-sufficient individuals contributing to something larger than themselves. Can you see how that could inform your relationship? Can you see how you could apply this to all areas of your life: your business, relationship with your children and family?
